Living Kitchen Sales Ambassador


Reports to: Juli Luna, Founder and Jane-Howard Crutchfield, Marketing Manager

Position:

Living Kitchen is hiring a regional Sales Ambassador for our retail products! We are looking for an energetic, outgoing, and dependable Sales Ambassador to promote our Cookie Bites and Love Bars. The Sales Ambassador will maintain relationships with our current wholesale customers, perform regular store check-ins to ensure proper merchandising and stock levels, and schedule and perform in-store product demos to boost sales and brand awareness. The Sales Ambassador will use their knowledge of the local market to identify potential wholesale customers and work with management to plan and execute new customer outreach. The ideal candidate is a great communicator, self-motivated, and highly organized. 


Responsibilities:

  • Represent Living Kitchen, enhancing retail sales while educating people about our products.

  • Build relationships with retail buyers for current wholesale customers.

  • Check store shelves to ensure proper merchandising.

  • Work with store management to secure preferred placement for Living Kitchen products.

  • Identify potential wholesale customers based on knowledge of the local market, retail locations, and our products.

  • Create and execute new customer outreach plan.

  • Organize and execute tasting demonstrations at retail partner locations.

    • Communicate with store managers / demo coordinators to determine schedules, product levels, and demo guidelines.

    • Engage with customers about unique product attributes to generate excitement, build brand awareness, and grow customer loyalty.

    • Capture demo results by timely reporting all pertinent info.

  • Maintain adequate supplies of demo materials, promotional items, and products at all times.

  • Send weekly updates to Living Kitchen Marketing & Communications Manager with upcoming demo schedule .

  • Create and manage schedule to optimize time. 

  • Engage with community and like-minded business to find and participate in local events.

  • Regularly communicate with the Annex management.

  • Ability to be on feet for 4-6 hours


Compensation:

5.5% on paid invoices for new wholesale customers developed by the Sales Ambassador, $18 per hour for in-store product demonstrations, travel reimbursement for personal vehicle use (mileage) and public transportation (not including commute). 


Time Commitment:

At least two 3-hour in-store demos per week, plus about 20-30 hours of sales, outreach, and planning.
